V8 Supercars race-winner Jack Perkins has been confirmed as the driver for the #4 Auto Union Deutsche Audi A4 for the upcoming final round of the 2015 Kerrick Sports Sedan Series, to be held at Sydney Motorsport Park across November 13-15.
Perkins has been filling in for injured regular driver Darren Hossack, who suffered injuries to both knees in a speedway accident in April.
While originally the three-time KSSS champion had anticipated being back in the car for the season finale, the decision has been made for Perkins to continue in the seat.
“I don’t feel that I am yet back to the level overall that I need to be to get back in the car, and Jack is doing a fantastic job so it makes sense for him to finish the year off and hopefully get some great results for John and the team in Sydney,” said Hossack.
